近寒食雨草萋萋，
著麥苗風柳映堤。
早是有家歸未得，
杜鵑休向耳邊啼。

<Translation>
IT is near the time of "Cold Food"; rain makes the grasses grow.
The young wheat waves in the wind and the willows cast their shadows on the dykes.
It is the same with all of us who have a home but cannot go back to it.
Do not visit us, nightjar, nor let us hear your call.
